The new quant and engineering teams in high-frequency trading firms

High frequency trading firm Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is hiring python quant developers for its "new and fast-growing" quant core data team in its Pennsylvania HQ. The key purpose of the team is to scale and streamline the firm's historical data framework.
SIG's team appears to have been initiated in mid-2024; Python quant Eshan Parmar transitioned to the team in June after two years working for Susquehanna as a graduate software engineer.
Another team that's hiring and that appeared around the same time is Jump Trading's low/mid frequency equity statistical arbitrage quant team in Hong Kong, led by ex-Citadel Securities portfolio manager Zoey Zhao. It's not clear who has joined this team, but Bowie Wan, a junior Delta-One index arbitrage trader from Hong Kong trading firm Eclipse, joined Jump last November.
In New York, Hudson River Trading is hiring for its "brand-new market structure analytics team." The team will analyze and research the capabilities of different exchanges and conduct experiments to "measure impact of calculated changes to HRT’s trading infrastructure."
