The Coffee Run: The bankers working on Warner Bros' acquisition aren't having happy holidays

This week's top story is on Netflix's acquisition of Warner Bros; the last few months have been arduous ones for the Moelis & Co bankers working on it, and they may yet all be for nothing. Since Netflix announced its acquisition, Paramount has launched a hostile takeover bid, with a higher price and the president in its corner to boot.

Bankers working for (and against) Netflix will seemingly have their work cut out for them over the Christmas period. They'll be the outliers in what is usually one of the few quiet periods for bankers, which carries a few benefits but also could cause a lot of long-term problems.
