Michael Pierre has joined Morgan Stanley in New York. Pierre didn't respond to a request to comment. At Bank of America he had a broad remit, covering business services (eg. IT consulting and professional services) along with space technology (eg. satellites). At Morgan Stanley, it's understood that he'll work on the media and communications team.
Pierre first joined Bank of America as a mortgage team servicing manager in 2012. He rejoined as an associate in the investment banking division in 2014, after completing an MBA at Tuck. He'd been there ever since, and made managing director in 2023.
Information provider Dealogic says Morgan Stanley ranks third for US M&A revenues so far this year. It says Bank of America ranks sixth. Last month, Morgan Stanley hired UBS healthcare banker David Kostel.
