Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will take a leading role in the sales effort for PriceMetrix and a supporting role in the sale of Wealth Management data & analytics products across the broader Coalition Greenwich organization. They will collaborate with sales leadership to help increase the growth of PriceMetrix by cultivating client relationships and identifying impact opportunities for prospective clients.

The successful candidate will lead virtual and on-site presentations to prospective clients. They will write proposals, manage procurement, and negotiate and close agreements together with relevant PriceMetrix leaders and partners in the broader Coaltion Greenwich organization.

The role’s responsibilities can be broken down into two categories:

1. Business Development (New Logos)

• Target North American Wealth Management Firms with a particular focus on the RIA segment

− Manage a new business pipeline and progression of key opportunities − Own reporting and planning of their business development opportunities

− Market continuously with prospects to broaden client coverage

• Develop the strategic goals and tactical plans necessary to identify, prospect and connect with targeted accounts.

• Leverage existing contacts in the wealth management industry to create a sales plan to effectively scale your coverage

• Utilize company CRM to track sales activity and target specific contacts for upsell initiatives and other campaigns.

• Coordinate as needed with other PriceMetrix and Coalition Greenwich team members covering existing clients or prospects.

2. Sales Management Support

• Contribute to PriceMetrix’s overall Business Development Strategy.

• Stay abreast of trends in the Wealth Management Industry

• Co-operate with Client Success and Product teams to:

− Obtain client input for existing and new product offerings

− Refine product positioning and pricing

− Align client needs with product development initiatives

− Ensure product pricing is aligned to the business costings and resourcing

− Identify and collaborate to shape further innovations to product set to support future growth and differentiation

Required Experience

• BA/BS required, Series 7 licensing and/or MBA an asset

• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience working for a Wealth Management Firm and/or a FinTech/data company

• Established sales track record

• Knowledge of the RIA segment a plus

The successful candidate will have to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

– Ability to interact and build trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders at clients in the wealth management industry; Ability to build their own network within the industry in addition to client contacts.

• Excellent Business Development Marketing and acumen – Ability to spot opportunities and align client needs with PriceMetrix/Coalition Greenwich capabilities.

• Exemplary communication skills – Ability to converse confidently and articulately; Excellent presentation skills and the ability to present with impact to small groups or to large audiences.

• Industry expertise – Strong knowledge of the Wealth Management space, specifically the typical business challenges facing advisors and their firms.

• Entrepreneurial approach -- ability and desire to initiate the identification and pursuit of innovative ideas in business development while orchestrating C-level stakeholder management
