We are partnering with a leading global independent advisory firm seeking to hire an Associate to join its highly regarded Industrials Investment Banking team in London. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on complex, high-profile M&A transactions across a broad range of industrial subsectors, advising corporate clients, private equity investors and entrepreneurs on strategic and financial matters. The Opportunity
As an Associate, you will play a key role in the execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A mandates, strategic advisory assignments and other corporate finance transactions. You will work closely with senior bankers and clients while taking significant responsibility for transaction delivery, financial analysis and project management.
This role offers outstanding exposure to clients, senior decision-makers and a wide variety of transactions within the industrials sector, including business services, transportation & logistics, industrial technology, manufacturing and diversified industrials.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute live M&A transactions from preparation through to completion
- Build and review complex financial models, valuation analyses and transaction materials
- Lead the preparation of presentations, pitchbooks, management presentations and information memoranda
- Conduct detailed company, industry and strategic analysis
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate external advisers
- Mentor and support Analysts within the team
- Participate in business development initiatives and client relationship management
Candidate Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of Investment Banking M&A experience
- Current experience within a leading Bulge Bracket Bank or Elite Boutique advisory firm
- Strong transaction execution experience across buy-side and sell-side M&A assignments
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation capabilities
- Excellent analytical, commercial and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong academic background from a leading university
- Demonstrated leadership potential and desire to progress within a high-performing advisory platform
