1. Strategic Market Entry & Partnership Structuring (The "Business" Side)

• Ecosystem Integration: Lead the groundwork for entering new jurisdictions by identifying and engaging key local financial institutions. Your goal is to design collaborative frameworks that leverage our tech capabilities.

• Commercial Structuring: Work with legal and product teams to craft flexible deal structures (e.g., co-origination, risk-sharing facilities, white-label solutions) that align incentives between our platform and local partners. You understand that one size does not fit all and can tailor a pitch to a conservative local bank vs. an agile digital lender.

• Deal Negotiation: Support the Head of Department in term sheet negotiations, focusing on revenue models, cost of funds, and operational workflows. You will be the engine room behind our expansion into markets where a "partner-first" approach is key.

• Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to partners, managing relationships from initial courtship to live operations, ensuring smooth integration of APIs, data flows, processes and servicing protocols.

2. Global Treasury & Funding Strategy (The "Treasury" Side)

• Capital Optimization: Manage the flow of capital across borders to fund loan origination in both owned and partnered entities. Ensure optimal liquidity positioning to support rapid scaling without excessive idle cash.

• Funding Execution: Assist in sourcing and executing diverse funding instruments (warehouse lines, securitization, intercompany loans, bank facilities) to backstop our growing portfolio.

• Risk & Compliance Oversight: Monitor FX exposure and interest rate risks arising from cross-border flows. Ensure all treasury activities and partnership structures adhere to internal risk policies and local regulatory nuances.

Job Requirement

• The Profile: 5-8 years of experience in Investment Banking (FIG), Structured Finance, Treasury expert or Corporate Development within a Fintech/Lending business. You have seen both sides of the table: the lender and the borrower.

• The Mindset: You are a positive thinking deal-maker at heart. You don't just wait for instructions; you identify where a partnership can be created internally or externally; a day-one mindset in a startup company with strong drive to resolve unexpected issues and provide structured solutions.

• The Skill Set:

• Deep understanding of lending economics, capital adequacy, and how to structure deals that satisfy both commercial goals and regulatory constraints.

• Proven ability to navigate complex jurisdictions. You know how to get things done when the path isn't a straight line.

• Strong treasury and presentation skills and the ability to translate numbers into a compelling business narrative.

• Communication: English and Mandarin communication skills (written and verbal).

• Discretion: You operate with the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality, understanding the sensitive nature of cross-border expansion strategies.
