Our client, a reputable financial services institution, is seeking an experienced AML Analyst to support a Name Screening tuning project. This role is ideal for professionals with strong AML knowledge, analytical skills, and experience reviewing sanctions, PEP, and adverse news alerts.

The Role

• Support the Name Screening tuning project and perform post-implementation reviews of screening threshold and matching logic changes
• Review and assess screening alerts to evaluate alert quality and effectiveness
• Analyze true matches, false positives, and overall alert relevance
• Conduct comparative testing across different screening scenarios and identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Prepare data analysis and management reports, including alert volumes, hit rates, escalation rates, and false positive ratios
• Develop dashboards and management information (MI) to support decision-making
• Document testing results, findings, and conclusions to maintain a clear audit trail

Your Profile

• 3-7 years of experience in AML, Compliance, Financial Crime, Risk, or a related field
• Hands-on experience reviewing Name Screening alerts, including PEP and adverse news screening
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and INDEX/MATCH
• Strong reporting and documentation skills with experience producing audit-ready workpapers
• Familiarity with UAT, business analysis, or project-based environments is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
