Hays is proud to be partnering with a respected national organisation seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to lead its people function and drive strategic workforce initiatives.This is a unique opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys operating across both strategic and operational HR while working within a highly values-driven environment. You will act as the trusted advisor to leaders, champion organisational culture and lead initiatives that enhance engagement, capability and employee experience across the organisation. This role is based in Sydney and offers the opportunity to join a collaborative and purpose-driven team.
Your new role
- Providing expert advice and coaching to leaders on all people-related matters.
- Leading recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities.
- Managing employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations.
- Driving organisational culture and employee engagement initiatives.
- Developing and implementing people policies, frameworks and best-practice HR processes.
- Leading learning and development programs and capability-building initiatives.
- Overseeing employee wellbeing and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to support organisational growth and change initiatives.
- Extensive experience in a senior HR Generalist or HR Manager
- Strong capability across employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition and organisational development.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing key business decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
- A genuine passion for creating positive workplace cultures and supporting employee wellbeing.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
- A genuine leadership role with broad organisational influence
