Join a leading Australian university undertaking a major data and analytics transformation program. As part of the Advanced Analytics and Planning portfolio, this initiative is focused on delivering enhanced HR analytics, reporting and workforce insights capabilities.
Your new role
As a Senior Test Analyst, you will play a critical role in the delivery of a large-scale HR data and analytics program. Working closely with business stakeholders, Data Engineers and project teams, you will be responsible for end-to-end testing across data pipelines, analytics platforms and reporting solutions.
The role will focus on validating HR data as it moves through the environment into Snowflake, ensuring data quality, accuracy and alignment with business requirements. You will help define and execute test scenarios, validate reporting metrics and ensure governance and quality controls are embedded throughout the solution.
You'll be joining a collaborative team leveraging modern technologies including Snowflake, Coalesce and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience testing large-scale HR systems and datasets
- Strong end-to-end testing experience across complex data and analytics projects
- Experience testing data warehousing solutions, including data quality, mappings and transformations
- Experience working closely with Data Engineers to validate data pipelines and output
- Experience testing within Snowflake environments
- Exposure to cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Workday experience highly desirable
- Understanding of data governance principles, controls and data quality frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work closely with business stakeholders to validate reporting requirements, metrics and outcomes
6-month contract with possible extension, competitive daily rates, Sydney CBD/Hybrid
