Associate - Healthcare Investment Banking
Location: New York, NY
A leading investment banking platform is seeking an Associate to join its Healthcare Investment Banking team in New York City. The Associate will play a key role in the execution of M&A transactions and strategic advisory engagements for clients across the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of mergers & acquisitions and strategic advisory assignments.
- Build and review complex financial models and valuation analyses.
- Conduct company, industry, and market research.
- Lead due diligence efforts and coordinate transaction workstreams.
- Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, board materials, and transaction-related documentation.
- Review analyst work product and provide mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in client meetings and interact with management teams and investors throughout the transaction process.
- Assist with business development initiatives and new client opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3-5 years of investment banking experience with a focus on M&A transactions.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Experience executing sell-side, buy-side, or other strategic advisory engagements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Healthcare investment banking experience is preferred but not required.
