Vice President - AI Engagement & Digital Experience

Position Summary

The Vice President, AI Engagement & Digital Experience is responsible for driving enterprise awareness, adoption, and engagement of Artificial Intelligence initiatives across the organization. This role serves as the bridge between AI strategy and employee understanding-translating complex technical concepts into compelling stories, experiences, and communications that accelerate business adoption.

The VP owns the enterprise AI narrative, AI employee experience, and AI digital ecosystem, including the AI Hub, internal websites, learning pathways, executive communications, adoption campaigns, and success-story programs.

This leader partners closely with Technology, Data & AI, HR, Learning, Corporate Communications, and Business stakeholders to ensure employees understand not only what AI is, but why it matters, how it creates value, and how they can participate in the organization's AI transformation journey.

The role combines strategic communications, digital experience management, change leadership, content strategy, and AI fluency to drive enterprise-wide behavioral change and adoption. This aligns well with current AI communications, engagement, and AI Hub initiatives referenced in the enterprise AI program materials.

Key Responsibilities

AI Narrative & Storytelling

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise AI narrative.

  • Translate technical AI concepts into business-focused messaging.

  • Convert AI strategy into compelling stories that resonate with employees and leaders.

  • Showcase AI success stories, business outcomes, and innovation achievements.

  • Create executive-ready messaging and presentations for leadership forums.

AI Hub & Digital Experience Ownership

  • Own enterprise AI portals and digital experience platforms.

  • Establish AI Hub content strategy, governance, and user experience.

  • Curate AI tools, use cases, training materials, success stories, and resources.

  • Ensure content remains relevant, engaging, and easy to navigate.

  • Analyze engagement metrics and continuously improve employee experience.

The concept of the AI Hub as the central destination for AI tools, training, use cases, and employee engagement appears repeatedly across current AI communications materials.

Communications & Engagement Strategy

  • Develop and execute enterprise AI communication strategies.

  • Create multi-channel communication campaigns.

  • Drive awareness of AI initiatives, capabilities, and achievements.

  • Coordinate executive messaging, town halls, newsletters, and leadership communications.

  • Establish communication plans supporting major AI milestones and launches.

Current AI communications plans emphasize executive messaging, communication campaigns, AI adoption messaging, and roadmaps that move the organization toward AI-native ways of working.

Change Management & Adoption

  • Lead AI adoption campaigns and engagement initiatives.

  • Partner with HR and Learning teams on AI capability-building strategies.

  • Develop role-based messaging for leaders, managers, and employees.

  • Support AI Champions and AI Lead networks.

  • Measure adoption trends and recommend interventions to improve engagement.

Enterprise workforce enablement materials specifically identify messaging, engagement forums, AI Champions, learning pathways, and adoption campaigns as critical components of AI scaling.

Content Strategy & Thought Leadership

  • Develop enterprise AI thought leadership content.

  • Build executive communications and speaking materials.

  • Create articles, blogs, videos, infographics, and multimedia content.

  • Ensure consistency of AI messaging across regions and business functions.

  • Maintain editorial governance and content quality standards.

Measurement & Insights

  • Monitor employee awareness and engagement metrics.

  • Measure AI Hub traffic, content consumption, campaign reach, and adoption indicators.

  • Develop executive dashboards demonstrating AI engagement outcomes.

  • Use employee feedback to refine communication and enablement strategies.

Experience

Required

  • 10+ years in communications, digital experience, change management, employee engagement, technology marketing, or transformation roles.

  • Experience supporting enterprise technology or digital transformation initiatives.

  • Strong ability to simplify complex concepts into relatable business stories.

  • Experience managing enterprise websites or digital content platforms.

  • Experience supporting executive communications.

Preferred

  • AI, data, analytics, or technology industry experience.

  • Financial services experience.

  • Experience leading enterprise-wide change initiatives.

  • Background in organizational communications or workforce transformation.

Success Profile
