Position Overview: Basic administrative work; support staffing operations. The scheduler is responsible for maintenance and distribution of employee schedules, monitoring attendance, and processing schedule change requests. The scheduler maintains accurate schedule, employee availability, and employee data.

- Hourly $24.00 to $26.00/hour

The scheduler maintains accurate schedule, employee availability, and employee data.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor staffing levels and make recommendations regarding scheduling adjustments and workforce needs.
- Review contract post requirements, staffing levels, and operational needs to create efficient workforce schedules.
- Develop and maintain employee work schedules to ensure contractual staffing requirements are met.
- Process time-off requests while balancing operational requirements and overtime considerations.
- Implement schedule modifications resulting from operational changes, leave requests, training requirements, and emergency staffing situations.
- Review, update, and maintain employee time and attendance records.
- Investigate and resolve scheduling discrepancies and timekeeping issues.
- Perform data entry and maintain records within scheduling, payroll, and workforce management systems.
- Generate reports related to staffing, attendance, overtime, and workforce utilization.
- Serve as a resource to management regarding attendance, scheduling, and workforce availability information.
- Provide administrative support to the Director, Operations Managers, and HR Manager as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong passion for Aviation and/or Security industry
- A proactive thinker with an outgoing personality who is comfortable speaking in front of groups and interacting with company colleagues and employees.
- HS Diploma or G.E.D
- Minimum 1 year of experience in administrative support, workforce scheduling, payroll, timekeeping, or a related field
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
- Must have great intrapersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively at various social levels across many diverse cultures
- Willing and able to participate in a drug test (either pre-employment or random) with negative results
- Must be willing to pass a 10-year verifiable background check (employment, education, criminal and personal references)
- Must have experience working with basic office equipment (copier, scanner, fax, printer)
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Must obtain and maintain throughout course of employment a valid SIDA badge
- Customer Service experience
- Language Skills: English Proficiency required (reading, writing, and speaking)
