Vice President - Healthcare Investment Banking

Our client is a highly regarded investment banking platform with a leading healthcare advisory practice and a strong reputation for middle-market M&A execution. The firm advises healthcare companies, private equity sponsors, and other stakeholders on strategic transactions across a wide range of healthcare subsectors.

Due to continued growth and strong transaction activity, the team is seeking to add a Vice President to support both execution and client development initiatives. Position Overview

The Vice President will be an integral member of the healthcare team, helping lead the execution of M&A transactions while supporting senior bankers in business development efforts. The role will involve significant responsibility for managing deal processes, overseeing junior team members, and maintaining direct client relationships. Transaction exposure will be primarily focused on sell-side M&A engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of complex financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials
• Analyze historical and projected financial performance to support strategic decision-making
• Manage due diligence processes and coordinate transaction execution across multiple stakeholders
• Develop client presentations, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and marketing materials
• Support business development efforts through pitch preparation and market analysis
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, investors, attorneys, accountants, and other advisors throughout the transaction process
• Oversee and mentor Analysts and Associates, providing guidance on execution and professional development
• Assist with the sourcing, marketing, and execution of advisory engagements across the healthcare sector

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
• Minimum of 6 years of investment banking experience
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting, valuation, and M&A transaction processes
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Experience managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced deal environment
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead transaction execution efforts

Preferred

• Prior healthcare investment banking experience
• Significant M&A transaction experience, including sell-side advisory assignments
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Strong client management and relationship-building abilities
• Experience mentoring and developing junior banking professionals
• Proven ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, team-oriented culture
