About the team



Our Dispute Resolution team has extensive experience acting for FTSE 100 and Euro 250 companies, as well as owner-managed businesses across a wide range of sectors.



We provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice and build strong, long-lasting relationships with our clients, enabling us to understand their businesses, objectives and challenges.



Commercial disputes are an inevitable part of business. Our breadth of experience allows us to quickly identify the key issues, develop effective strategies and deliver practical solutions that help clients protect their interests and achieve their commercial goals. Whether through negotiation, mediation, arbitration or litigation, we guide clients through every stage of the dispute resolution process.



As our Dispute Resolution practice continues to grow, we're recruiting across a number of levels, from Newly Qualified Solicitors through to Associate Partners. We welcome applications from talented lawyers who are looking to work on complex, high-quality disputes for a diverse client base that includes FTSE 100, Euro 250 and owner-managed businesses.

What you'll be doing



Depending on your experience and level, you will:

• Advise clients on a broad range of commercial and corporate disputes.


• Manage your own caseload and support on larger, complex matters.


• Develop and deliver strategic, commercially focused legal advice.


• Draft and review a variety of litigation and dispute resolution documents.


• Work closely with clients, counsel, experts and other stakeholders.


• Support matters through negotiation, mediation, arbitration and court proceedings.


• Build strong client relationships and contribute to exceptional client service.


• Collaborate with colleagues across HF's Corporate and Commercial Services teams.


• Play an active role in business development and the continued growth of the practice.

What do I need?



We're interested in hearing from qualified Solicitors at all stages of their career, from NQ level through to Associate Partner, who have experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.



The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Strong technical knowledge and experience of dispute resolution.


• Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.


• A collaborative mindset and commitment to teamwork.


• A desire to contribute to the continued success and growth of the team.
