The Role



You will join the firm's top-tier restructuring, insolvency and capital solutions team - a practice recognised for executing some of the most sophisticated transactions across diverse markets. The group advises stakeholders across the capital structure on mandates which include:

• Domestic and cross-border restructurings using innovative tools and processes


• Liability management exercises and exchange offers


• Formal insolvency proceedings and contingency planning for distressed situations


• Capital solutions through new money capital raises and bespoke financing structures


• Distressed M&A transactions, including acquisitions of assets and complex spin-outs


• Advisory work for boards, sponsors and funds facing high-stakes financial stress

Typical matters involve multiple jurisdictions, regulatory challenges and competing stakeholder interests, requiring technical excellence and imaginative problem-solving.



You will work across a variety of industries including
energy and natural resources, infrastructure, financial services, healthcare, retail, consumer goods, industrial manufacturing, aviation and shipping . Many transactions involve novel restructuring techniques, the latest legislative tools and negotiations with numerous global parties.




What They're Looking For

• A qualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent) with 2-5 years PQE in restructuring and insolvency


• Strong understanding of restructuring frameworks, debt and capital instruments


• Experience advising on financial restructuring transactions or formal insolvency situations


• Excellent drafting, analytical and strategic advisory skills


• Adaptability to work across multi-jurisdictional, complex mandates in a fast-paced environment


• A collaborative approach with commercial awareness and strong client-handling ability
