Program Director – Endur | Gas & Power

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead a strategic transformation programme within the Gas & Power trading environment, with a strong focus on Endur.

The successful candidate will provide senior-level programme leadership, drive delivery across complex business and technology workstreams, and manage relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide overall programme direction, governance and leadership across a complex Endur-focused transformation.

- Lead delivery across Gas & Power trading, risk, operations and technology functions.

- Manage and influence senior stakeholders, including business executives, trading leadership and technology leadership.

- Establish and maintain programme governance, reporting, RAID management and delivery controls.

- Drive programme strategy, roadmap, milestones, dependencies and delivery outcomes.

- Coordinate multiple workstreams, delivery teams, vendors and technology partners.

- Ensure alignment between business requirements, Endur capabilities and the wider technology landscape.

- Manage programme risks, issues, dependencies and escalations at senior level.

- Provide clear executive-level reporting on progress, financials, risks and key decisions.

- Support strategic decision-making and ensure timely resolution of programme blockers.

- Work closely with trading, operations, technology and change teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Essential Experience

- Proven experience as a Programme Director / Senior Programme Director leading large-scale transformation programmes.

- Strong hands-on experience with Openlink Endur within an energy or commodities environment.

- Deep understanding of Gas & Power trading and associated front-to-back processes.

- Strong experience working with senior stakeholders and C-suite / executive-level audiences.

- Track record of successfully delivering complex, high-value transformation programmes.

- Experience managing multiple workstreams, teams, vendors and third-party partners.

- Strong programme governance, risk management and executive reporting capabilities.

- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience within energy trading, commodities, investment banking or financial markets environments.

Desirable

- Previous experience working with Mercuria or Capco.

- Experience delivering Endur transformation within a major commodities trading organisation.

- Strong understanding of energy trading technology and the wider ETRM landscape.

- Experience managing large-scale change across business and technology functions.
