• Understand the broader Bain vision, relevant consulting solution(s) and software-enabled consulting strategy to contribute to the execution of product strategy in partnership with the Practice

• Produce concise, decision-ready product artifacts, including problem statements, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, roadmap recommendations, and senior stakeholder updates

• Develop and execute product roadmap and OKRs to achieve product objectives, including product positioning, budgeting, pricing, and go-to-market strategy

• Define and monitor measures of adoption, quality, reliability, and value; communicate outcomes, risks, and dependencies to leadership; Support alignment of the product vision and way forward across diverse stakeholder groups

Product Mindset and Customer Insights

• Implement product management and software development best practices to maximize value delivery, surface tradeoffs, manage risks and optimize processes; train and educate others

• Deeply understand client workflows and use cases, and track and analyze key metrics, voice of the customer, and user feedback to provide insights to the business and development, informing product decisions

• Earn the trust of Bain consultants, B2B commercial experts, and engineers through technical fluency, crisp judgment, and a willingness to engage directly with the details

• Combine user-centered product judgment with delivery and systems rigor, caring both about the experience of Bain case teams and the secure, reliable foundations that make quality repeatable across engagements

Required qualifications

• Associate's/bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

• Five to eight years' professional experience, including experience in a strategy consulting setting, ideally involving B2B growth, pricing, sales, go-to-market transformation, data-intensive products, or technology delivery.
