About your new role

Weightmans is investing in the continued growth of our Insolvency & Recoveries team and we're looking to speak with both Partners seeking a new platform and Senior Associates ready to step into Partnership .

Our Insolvency & Recoveries team advises on both contentious and non-contentious aspects of personal and corporate insolvency, acting for insolvency practitioners, lenders, businesses, directors and other stakeholders. The team has significant expertise across:

• Corporate and personal insolvency
• Business recovery and restructuring
• Company distress and turnaround situations
• Insolvency litigation
• Director disqualification matters
• Debt recovery and enforcement
• Winding-up and bankruptcy proceedings
• Secured lending and enforcement
• Retention of title and financial security issues
• CVAs, pre-pack administrations and restructuring solutions
• HMRC and tax-related insolvency disputes
• Partnership insolvency matters
• Third Party Rights Against Insurers Act issues

The practice works closely with colleagues across litigation, banking, corporate, real estate and regulatory teams to deliver joined-up solutions for clients facing complex financial challenges.

We're seeking ambitious lawyers with strong technical expertise, commercial acumen and a passion for business development.
