Director, Program Manager

Primary responsibilities include overall accountability and leadership for the successful and timely operational and technical implementation of the Mexico domestic switching initiatives aligned with the intended business results and go-to-market plan. Core responsibility for managing relationships and communicating with the initiative sponsor, senior management, technology partners, and a wide range of initiative contributors. Identifies key barriers to the initiative success and actively manages all mitigation activities. This individual will also define, measure, and communicate to business and technology partners the value of the technology investments. Responsible for developing and managing the technology roadmap for the switch initiatives jointly with the regional counterpart. In addition, will own demand intake and prioritization, investment management, capacity planning and support development teams with release planning and slotting for the switch initiatives.

Major Accountabilities:
• Lead and manage overall Technology Business Management (TBM) process for the Mexico domestic initiative including technology program roadmaps, demand intake, prioritization, and capacity planning with a more "strategic lens" in conjunction with the product, regional, and technology partners.
•Responsible for proper prioritization, capacity planning and slotting of program technical roadmap deliverables into appropriate releases
•Provide leadership and oversight to the domestic switching technical and operational initiatives aligning to the business objectives, go-to-market plan, and budget.
•Work with the regional counterpart to provide transparency, align business and IT roadmaps, provide IT solutions to business opportunities, gather and document requirements and prioritize projects in line with the business case.
•Regularly communicates to senior management regarding the status of specific project deliverables
•Effectively deal with difficult situations and develop solutions to complex/unforeseen problems
•Ensure timely and accurate communication with initiatives' staff throughout the life cycle of the program. Must be intimately familiar with the program's scope and initiative objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the teams.
•Ensure methodology compliance and manage resolutions, reporting to management as needed.
•Define, establish, measure and regularly communicate key KPI's and metrics to demonstrate the value created by investments and operational health of the program.
•Monitor the program cost and make recommendations to senior leadership and business partners on how to reprioritize / optimize the program.

Knowledge / Experience:
•Advanced knowledge and demonstrated expertise in the areas of technology planning and program management required processes and techniques.
•Demonstrated experience with structured methodology and program planning tools.
•Knowledge of MasterCard and the payments industry preferred.
•PMP certification preferred
•Command of Agile development practices
