Introduction

Company cultures & job summary

Our client is a globally recognised defence prime with a serious sovereign software and systems capability right here in the UK - the kind of place where the work you do genuinely contributes to national security across land, sea, air and beyond. Based in New Malden, their UK Defence team is a centre of excellence for complex, multi-domain command and control systems, with a strong focus on Royal Navy mission systems. It's a collaborative, technically-driven environment where curiosity is encouraged and the projects are genuinely cutting-edge. They need an experienced Verification and Validation Engineer who knows the full V&V lifecycle inside out - someone who has planned and delivered IVVTQA activities, is comfortable with tools like DOORS, and can hit the ground running on defence or military standards. You'll also need to be able to lead and mentor junior engineers, get involved in design and risk reviews, and manage defect investigations through to resolution. SC clearance is required.
