The role

They are looking to bring onboard an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to assist in governing the consulting arm of the firm. You will be leading and directing teams to successfully deliver in complex finance transformation environments.

You will ensure a strict project change process is followed to ensure successful delivery on time and on budget is achieved. The key markets you will be working are: banking, telecoms and insurance – with an emphasis on IFRS17.

You will hold the following responsibilities:

  • Drive and own the implementation of best practice project processes, delivery standards and commercial engagement terms
  • Understand the development processes and ensure standardization is adhered to
  • Plan all aspects of delivery including budget, quality, risk (commercial & delivery), customer satisfaction and solution assurance
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders – established a trusted relationship with client stakeholders
  • Drive, police and oversee the delivery of multiple streams of work for all projects.

 

The requirements

  • Proven track record of playing key client facing roles within Finance Transformation projects
  • Commanding and confident character – this role will be pivotal to the organisation
  • Experience in managing large scale implementations and preferably experienceworking with a recognized consulting firm
  • Comfortable managing projects within complex client business environments
  • Knowledge of the Insurance sector would be an advantage
  • Experience in projects requiring a high level of systems integration
  • Experience with implementing complex product and services
  • Use of multiple project management/development methodologies
