Our client is seeking a Junior Technology Adoption Consultant to join their People Transformation team within the Defence & Security sector. In this role, you'll support organisations in maximising the value of their technology investments by helping to design and deliver effective business change and user adoption strategies.

Due to the nature of the work, active DV clearance is essential for consideration.

Working Patterns and location - Hybrid - 2-3 days on site per week

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with senior consultants to help align technology initiatives with business objectives and user needs.
• Support delivery across the entire GDS lifecycle, from Discovery and Alpha through to Beta and Live, with a focus on user engagement and adoption.
• Assist in planning and coordinating the rollout of new technology solutions and change initiatives.
• Facilitate training sessions and provide practical support to end users to drive confidence and adoption of new technologies.
• Gather and interpret user feedback and adoption metrics to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
• Review existing technology usage and help identify opportunities to increase adoption, efficiency, and overall business value.
• Contribute to business growth activities, including supporting bid responses, proposals, and wider industry engagement.
• Play a part in developing internal best practices, methodologies, and knowledge-sharing across the consulting team.

Skills & experience

• Experience supporting change management activities, including stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, and the delivery of organisational change management plans.
• Proven ability to design and deliver training initiatives that drive successful technology adoption and user engagement.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and analytical skills, with experience working in a client-facing consulting environment.
• Previous consulting experience with the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
• Confident collaborating with diverse, cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent organisational skills with a structured, detail-focused approach to delivery.
• Experience contributing to or supporting business development activities within technology adoption or digital transformation programmes.

The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:

• Good understanding of GDS (Government Digital Service) standards and experience working across the digital delivery lifecycle.
• Previous experience supporting programmes within the Defence and Security sector.
• Knowledge of user-centred design principles and their application within technology implementation and adoption initiatives.
• Experience tracking benefits realisation and measuring the value and impact of technology solutions following go-live.
