A well established and well performing Credit Hedge Fund with AUM in excess of $5bn+ is looking for a talented Operations & Finance professional to join their growing team. This is a career changing opportunity to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, hence the requirement to have a proactive and ambitious attitude. Their ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, knowledgeable and hardworking, with there being a further requirement for this person having fund valuations knowledge from the buyside. Stellar academics are also a must have.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Full responsibility for the day to day operations across several private credit fund portfolios including external Fund Administrator oversight
- The remit will cover the Fund Accounting, Product Control and Middle Office functions
- Oversight of all cash management and the subsequent co-ordination of credit facility drawings
- Manage the daily P&L function across all funds
- Manage the fund liquidity and forecast cash flow projections
- Manage numerous external counterparty relationships
- Assist with the various financial reporting requirements
- Work closely with the investment team on a daily basis
- Ad-hoc project work to improve the enhancement of all internal processes
The person should have:
- An excellent academic record, holding an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is a plus
- Transferable asset class knowledge across bank debt and loans is a must
- The skills to develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and flexible to meet workload
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and be capable of working under pressure
- The ability to embrace change and help identify efficiencies on process to the benefit of wider teams.
