The strength of our market relationships, including a deep understanding of reinsurer behavior, truly differentiates our ability to provide delivery of capital and solutions to our clients, enabling long-term, strategic growth.

Based in London, this role is pivotal in overseeing reinsurer relationships, driving market intelligence (MI) initiatives, and ensuring alignment across the firm.

How you'll make an impact

Here's what you'll do:
  • Design and implement the Reinsurer Engagement strategic plan, incorporating the business needs of key stakeholders, focusing on strategic alignment, revenue growth impacts and client needs (direct or indirect).
  • Clearly define and communicate priorities for each relationship, developing comprehensive action plans and ensuring consistent follow-ups.
  • Monitor and document key takeaways from executive meetings, ensuring follow-through on action items and providing regular progress updates.
  • Partner with appropriate stakeholders to create content for strategy meetings.
  • Track and analyze reinsurer performance and review external messaging such as investor day topics to inform planning strategies and incorporation into action plans.
  • Provide support for revenue growth opportunities including more closely linking reinsurer appetite with placement needs.
  • Facilitate reinsurer surveys for use in internal evaluations and to provide reinsurers' feedback to drive improving outcomes.
  • Oversee the advancement of reinsurer analysis tools and placement data utilization, for internal and external consumption driving dynamic responsiveness to reinsurer behaviors and more targeted placement and engagement strategies.

About you

Here's what you'll bring to the role:
  • A university degree in Economics, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in insurance/reinsurance, financial services, or strategic research, with a strong preference for reinsurance experience.
  • Proven track record in managing reinsurer relationships and leading business intelligence initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of reinsurance structures, capital markets, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with C-suite executives and external stakeholders.
