ESG Analyst – Data – Data Analyst – Fund Management
Our client, a mid-sized Asset manager are currently looking for an ESG Data Analyst to join their team on a fixed term contract for 12 months with potential to go perm longer term.
Sitting within technology, you will be responsible for working closely with the Head of ESG and ESG teams to provide a data plan, data delivery, data visualisation and reporting for ESG data sets. This will include looking at vendors such as Sustainalytics, TruCost and Morningstar and longer term, looking at how these data sets can be implemented into the business’ investment systems.
Experience Required
- Knowledgeable in ESG data, its uses and applications in an asset management environment.
- Understanding of uses of ESG attributes as part of investment process
- Experience of implementing and embedding ESG data into business systems and processes.
- Some knowledge or experience of ESG ‘ready’ platforms such as:
- Sustainalytics,
- Morningstar
- TruCost
- Proven experience of more than one of the following:
- Power BI
- Data modelling and visualisation
- SQL, T-SQL
- Desk top ETL tools.
- Proven track record within an IT function, including systems analysis and data analysis.
- Experience in working with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Understanding of industry best practice and trends together with their application within a business context.
