Cloud Solution Engineer/ Software engineer with cloud

Overview of the role

You will work alongside other Core Engineers to deliver solutions on Cloud. The technology is currently Azure with Snowflake and Cosmos utilizing Databricks for compute. Other areas of use include SQLServer, C#, Python, PowerBI, Containers and DevOps (ADO).

Duties and responsibilities

You will:

• Advocate for and use ADO in the delivery of CI/CD for the team
• Develop APIs in Azure
• Develop BI solutions
• Become accustomed with on-prem solutions and migrate them into the Cloud
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.  

Technical skills and qualifications

• C#, Python, Java or other similar language
• Framework experience - .Net, React, Angular etc
• Azure
• API experience – SOAP or REST
• DevOps – ADO or other Git based / CI/CD practices
• Agile working Practices
• Automated testing
