Opportunities may be available on both a permanent and contract basis , depending on client requirements.

Responsibilities will vary depending on the role, seniority and organisation but may include:

1. Performing actuarial valuations and supporting financial reporting
2. Delivering Solvency II / Solvency UK, capital and regulatory reporting
3. Supporting pricing, product development and profitability analysis
4. Developing and maintaining actuarial models and methodologies
5. Conducting experience analysis, assumption reviews and monitoring
6. Supporting reserving, capital modelling and risk management activities
7. Analysing longevity, mortality, morbidity and other insurance risks
8. Supporting M&A, transactions, reinsurance and BPA activity
9. Producing actuarial analysis and insights for senior stakeholders
10. Working closely with Finance, Risk, Investment, Underwriting and senior leadership teams
11. Supporting regulatory submissions and actuarial governance requirements
12. Improving actuarial processes, models, data and reporting
13. Leading actuarial projects and mentoring junior team members at senior levels

We're keen to hear from actuarial professionals with experience within Life Insurance, Pensions, Retirement, Protection, Annuities, BPA, Longevity or related insurance markets .

You may be:

1. Studying towards or making good progress through the IFoA qualification pathway
2. Nearly qualified or a qualified actuary
3. Experienced in Life Insurance actuarial functions such as Pricing, Valuation, Capital, Reporting, Modelling or Risk
4. Experienced with Solvency II / Solvency UK requirements
5. Familiar with actuarial modelling tools such as MoSes, Prophet, Igloo, RAFM or similar
6. Experienced with actuarial data analysis and programming using Excel, SQL, R, Python or similar
7. A confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
8. Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
9. Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
10. Available for either permanent or contract opportunities , depending on your preference and experience
