The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Partner-level lawyer to lead and grow the Private Client practice in Birmingham. You will oversee a team advising high-net-worth individuals, business owners and families on a broad range of private client matters, including estate and succession planning, wills, probate, trusts, tax, and wealth protection. This leadership role combines team management, business development, and technical excellence, offering immediate workflow and significant scope to expand market share in the region.
What They're Looking For
- Experienced private client solicitor at senior level, ideally currently a Partner or Legal Director
- Expertise across wills, trusts, estate planning, and tax matters for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
- Leadership skills and experience mentoring or supervising a team
- Strong commercial outlook and ability to identify opportunities for practice growth
- Collaborative, client-focused, and ambitious, with the credibility to influence at a senior level
