QA Engineer
Aflac is building the specialist capability required to move AI from experimentation into scaled business impact. These roles will help transform customer and employee experiences, strengthen our enterprise AI, cloud and data foundations, and embed AI throughout the software development lifecycle so our teams can deliver better solutions faster, safely and responsibly.
Team Context
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join one of our engineering teams. The teams deliver web, mobile, cloud, low-code and AI-enabled solutions that improve outcomes and experiences for policyholders.
This is not a traditional testing role. You will help teams think about quality throughout the software development lifecycle, from early planning through to production.
Role context
You will be a quality advocate and technical partner for Product Owners, Engineers, Architects, Security and Support teams. You will help define testing approaches, automation, quality measures and engineering standards that give teams confidence in what they release.
As Aflac uses more AI-assisted engineering and intelligent software, you will help teams test AI-enabled features in practical, responsible ways.
Skills and experience
Below is an overview of the skills and experience we are looking for, but remember, don't rule yourself out if you don't have everything on the list - it's your intellect and your attitude we are really after.
Essential
Desirable
Please note that this is NOT a remote role, you will be required to come into the office 2 days per week.
We are committed to attracting diverse talent and supporting flexible working. Applications from candidates wishing to work four days per week are welcomed and will be considered in line with business and team requirements.
So that's us. Thanks for taking the time to read this far. We look forward to hearing from you if you fancy joining an innovative technology company that runs locally and is supported by a well-established, highly recognised Fortune 500 company in the US.
Aflac Northern Ireland is an equal opportunities employer.
