The Assurance Financial Services department performs audit and advisory services for national and international financial services providers. With our innovative services in auditing globally active financial institutions, we make an important contribution to the stability of the financial markets and thus put our purpose " Building a better Working World" into practice in our daily work with our clients.

The opportunity

As an Audit Senior in our Financial Services department, you will work on audits of some of Switzerland's largest financial institutions. You will gain exposure to complex banking environments, global audit teams and cross-border engagements while building deep industry expertise in one of the most dynamic sectors of the Swiss economy.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on large-scale international audit engagements, collaborate with professionals across multiple jurisdictions and develop into a trusted advisor for leading financial institutions.

Your key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and assess clients' satisfaction. Proactively maintain contact with the client throughout the year.
• Coordinating the translation of the audit strategy to detailed audit programs.
• You will help us to grow our dynamic practice through the development of trusted client relationships and high performing teams.
• Furthermore, you will be involved in the audits of local and international financial service providers which prepare their financial statements in accordance with Swiss or international accounting standards.
• Delivery of FINMA supplementary audits on special audit topics

What we look for

• You have at least 2 - 4 years audit experience, ideally gained within the banking, asset management, insurance or broader financial services industry.
• You are currently pursuing the Swiss CPA qualification.
• You have strong knowledge of Swiss and international accounting standards
• Thorough understanding of the current business environment, processes and systems landscape in the financial service industry
• Assertive and proactive approach, good organizational skills
• Ability to network effectively within large organizations and build relationships with individuals and clients, based on doing the right thing
• You demonstrate integrity, respect and teaming
• You have energy, enthusiasm and the courage to lead audit workstreams and supervise junior team members on large national and international financial services engagements.
• You are fluent in both German and English, written and spoken. French language skills are considered a strong asset.
