Lab Technician - Synthetic Chemistry vacancy for our Basel based client in the Pharma sector.

Your tasks:

• Execute laboratory synthesis experiments safely and efficiently in line with project objectives and timelines.
• Support process development work through experimental planning, data collection, observation and analysis.
• Collaborate with process chemists and cross-functional teams to assess results and define next steps.
• Maintain accurate electronic laboratory records and documentation in accordance with good documentation practices.
• Support scale-up, troubleshooting and small-scale manufacturing activities, including non-GMP and GMP batches where required.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, analytical instruments and work areas in a safe, operational and compliant condition.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Completed apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician or equivalent scientific technical qualification.
• Practical experience in synthetic chemistry and hands-on laboratory work.
• Experience supporting process development, reaction scale-up or manufacturing-related activities.
• Good understanding of laboratory safety standards, HSE requirements and compliant working practices.
• Strong documentation, organisation and data-handling skills.
• Language skills: English
