Our client is seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager to lead the regional credit control function across APAC. This role will be responsible for managing premium receivables, driving collection performance, mitigating credit risk, and partnering closely with finance, underwriting, operations, and external stakeholders to ensure effective working capital management.

• Lead the regional credit control and collections function across APAC.
• Monitor aged receivables and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
• Partner with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve collection issues and disputed balances.
• Review and analyse aged debt reports, collection trends, and key performance metrics.
• Drive initiatives to improve cash flow, reduce overdue balances, and strengthen collection efficiency.
• Assess credit exposures and identify potential collection risks.
• Develop and maintain robust credit control policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including receivables reconciliations and provisions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to internal governance standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members where applicable.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• 7-12 years of experience within Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Finance Operations.
• Prior experience within insurance, reinsurance, specialty insurance, financial services, or a broker-led environment would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of receivables management, cash collection processes, and credit risk management.
• Proven track record of improving collection performance and reducing aged debt.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
