As the SVP, for Asia & Oceania, this role reports to the Head of Infrastructure & Utility, and is driven by the Infrastructure funds.
The client is keen to engage with buyside individuals who are clued-in to potential deals in the market, either from banks/securities (sellside) or the sponsors network (i.e. other infra funds). You will be managing 1) regional sector focus bankers, 2) renewables/infra project finance bankers (SVP above), and 3) buyside renewables/infra mandated focus PE/funds/investors- (growing in the region, hopefully someone who have done Aussie deals) who will know where the upcoming deals are.
Although its a coverage role, however the abilty to build on the buyside renewables/infra mandated focus PE/funds/investors is a focus, instead of large commercial banks.
