Your new company
A leading international financial institution is undergoing a significant technology and operations transformation across its Global Markets business in Asia. As part of this programme, they are looking for an experienced technology transformation leader to drive the modernisation of their middle and back-office environment, initially focused on Singapore with broader regional scalability.

Your new role
You will lead the end-to-end technology transformation of post-trade capabilities supporting Equity and FICC businesses, translating the target operating model into system architecture, functional requirements and a phased implementation roadmap.
This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role where you will work closely with Front Office, Operations, Middle Office, Risk, Finance, Compliance, Technology and external vendors. You will assess existing applications, define future-state requirements, lead vendor and platform evaluations, oversee RFPs and manage implementation through testing, migration, cutover and stabilisation. You will also identify opportunities to increase automation and straight-through processing, reduce manual processes and strengthen operational controls across the post-trade environment.

What you'll need to succeed
15+ years' experience in technology transformation and complex project delivery within capital markets or securities operations.
Strong knowledge of Equity and FICC products and front-to-back trade lifecycles.
Deep understanding of post-trade processes including allocation, confirmation, clearing, settlement, custody, corporate actions, reconciliations and payments.
Proven hands-on experience implementing post-trade technology platforms, covering areas such as requirements, architecture, vendor evaluation, testing, migration and go-live.
Experience managing complex transformation programmes, sizeable budgets and technology vendors.
Strong senior stakeholder management and the ability to operate independently in a lean regional environment.
Exposure to major industry post-trade platforms would be advantageous.
Knowledge of Singapore and Hong Kong regulatory environments would also be beneficial.
