Key Responsibilities
- Independently assess and challenge financing proposals from business units, evaluating structures, sponsor support, documentation, and security packages
- Analyse financial projections, cash flow resilience, and recovery prospects to identify key credit risks and mitigants
- Formulate credit recommendations and concise summaries for approval authorities; approve within delegated authority where applicable
- Manage a portfolio of infrastructure exposures - annual reviews, obligor grading, and ongoing monitoring
- Identify emerging risks and sector concentrations; support waivers, restructurings, and workout situations as needed
- Build sector expertise and mentor junior credit officers
- Contribute to credit policy, governance, and portfolio strategy initiatives
- 10+ years in infrastructure finance, project finance, credit risk, infrastructure investment, advisory, or rating agencies
- Strong grasp of infrastructure/project finance structures, financial modelling, concession agreements, and covenant frameworks
- Proven ability to independently assess and articulate credit risks in complex transactions
- Excellent written/verbal communication for senior stakeholder engagement
