Assistant Relationship Manager, Southeast Asia (Analyst / Senior Associate)

Our client, a global private bank, is strengthening its Southeast Asia wealth management team in Singapore.

They are seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager (Analyst / Senior Associate) to support a team of high-producing Relationship Managers. This role offers strong exposure to Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) client portfolios, multi-asset trade execution, and cross-border wealth structuring across key SEA markets.

Key Highlights of the Role

1. Desk Support: Serve as a core operational and client-service anchor for 2 Senior Relationship Managers, assisting across client onboarding, portfolio administration, and daily desk workflow.
2. Trade & Order Execution: Facilitate end-to-end execution of client orders across diverse asset classes, including Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Mutual Funds, and Structured Products, ensuring speed, accuracy, and adherence to market standards.
3. Client Onboarding & Lifecycle Management: Coordinate account opening documentation, source-of-wealth reviews, cross-border account setups, and periodic KYC updates in close collaboration with Compliance and Operations.
4. Client Interaction & Service Excellence: Act as a responsive secondary contact for UHNW clients and family offices, managing day-to-day transactional requests, portfolio inquiries, and meeting preparation.

What We Are Looking For

1. Relevant Experience: Minimum 3 years of prior experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager or Client Service Associate in a Private Bank or Wealth Management set-up.
2. Regional Exposure: Familiarity with Southeast Asian markets, client profiles, and regional transaction structures. Language skills relevant to the SEA desk (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a strong plus for daily client communication.
3. Regulatory Accreditation: Possesses or is currently pursuing CACS Paper 1 and Paper 2 certifications.
4. Technical & Analytical Aptitude: Sound understanding of core private banking products, credit processes, and client due diligence frameworks.
5. Adaptability & Drive: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple RMs in a fast-paced environment.
