Responsibilities:

• Provide credit research coverage on Asian USD/SGD Issuers (may include other currencies)

• Experience in China, Hong Kong, Japan and Korean names, or financials / property / tech sectors will be advantageous

• Build and maintain financial models (company, industry, macro, bond universe)
• Publish timely and insightful research initiations and results/event updates
• Ideate, lead and publish Thematic Research pieces (Sectoral / Credit Rating / Structural)
• Market research insights to DBS clients, including High Net Worth and Institutional Investors and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate and support team with cross market/ capital structure (equities/credit/macro) research pieces

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 2-5 years of Fixed Income, or Equities Research experience within Asset Management/ Funds, Wealth Management, or Rating Agencies.
• Market Knowledge: Understanding of macroeconomics and the Asian USD/SGD bond markets.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg (ideally data tools like BQuant, BQL).
• Bonus Competencies: Coding/VBA, Credit Ratings, High Yield/Distressed Debt, or Equities analysis.

• Soft Skills: A self-motivated team player with intellectual humility, strong analytical curiosity and communication skills. Motivated to explore AI for credit research.
• Global Perspective: Strong cross-cultural adaptability and open-mindedness; to understand diverse regional cultures/ markets.
