Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the identification, assessment, and monitoring of product and operational risks.
2. Support the development and implementation of risk control measures to mitigate identified risks.
3. Conduct risk assessments on new and existing products, services, and processes.
4. Assist in maintaining risk registers and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
5. Monitor and analyse key risk indicators (KRIs) to ensure timely identification of potential risks.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to risk management policies and procedures.
7. Support regulatory compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to industry standards and internal controls.
8. Assist in preparing risk reports and presentations for senior management.
9. Participate in risk awareness training and initiatives across the organisation.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
11. Assist in overhauling the product due diligence process and product risk rating mechanism.
12. Assist in revamping the sales suitability assessment framework.
13. Assist in redesigning the customer risk rating questionnaire and mechanism.
14. Support the performance fee calculation as an interim solution to mitigate the risk around this process.

Requirements:

1. At least 5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field.
2. Basic understanding of risk management methodologies.
3. Experience in financial services, banking, fintech, or related industries.
4. Familiarity with risk management frameworks such as GDPR, COSO, Basel, or ISO 31000.
5. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, or a related field.
