The ICG KYC Utility is a Know Your Customer (KYC) function within Citi's Institutional Clients Group Operations and Technology division. The KYC Utility is responsible for the preparation, development, due diligence and approval of the KYC Record and supporting appendices in partnership with Relationship Management and Compliance teams. Job Background/context:

KYC Utility Project Manager works in  EMEA Know Your Customer team supporting all Operational projects and activities, tracking and managing projects and structuring and preparing presentations for senior management, for 5 key locations in the region 

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management
  • Develop project charters, project plans and risk logs for each project assigned
  • Identify all key deliverables and milestones within each project 
  • Manage end-to-end projects for EMEA  KYC Operations and for global projects  
  • Follow up across regional KYC Operations on status of projects 
  • Prepare and provide updates on project status to EMEA management
  • Highlight potential risks within projects 
  • Coordination and communication of deliverables to stakeholders in project
  • Providing artefacts to the Global Programme co-ordinators to evidence completion of milestones   
  • Develop innovative and efficient processes for KYC Operations
  • Manage project documentation
  • Structure and develop PowerPoint presentations for senior management  
  • Manage information management and uploads to KYC Operations knowledge management portal (website)
  • Business Process and Champion Change Management
  • Identify optimisation opportunities  in process 
  • Liaise with functions across Citi in relation to operational requirements for continuous improvement 
  • Analysing data and metrics associated with large scale projects and the resulting data requests/needs, such as scorecards for Senior Management


  • 7+ years of experience in Project Management (preferably in banking)
  • Program Management Experience 
  • Prior consultancy experience highly advantageous
  • KYC/AML knowledge will be an asset 
  • Strong ability in  use of  Microsoft Applications (PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Word, Excel, Access)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to communicate at all levels 
  • Qualification in project management (PRINCE, PMP) will be preferred
  • Experience in creating presentations for senior management
