Job Description
We are on the lookout for a Senior Engineer with expertise in process or mechanical engineering, deeply invested in sustainable energy solutions. This role is pivotal in spearheading the shift to renewable energy technologies and managing groundbreaking energy production projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers in sustainable energy projects.
• Oversee the operation and optimization of renewable energy installations (such as biomass plants, district heating systems, and STEGs).
• Drive the integration of new sustainable technologies and methods.
• Ensure operational efficiency, safety compliance, and environmental sustainability.
• Manage technical challenges and provide expert problem-solving.
• Lead large-scale maintenance and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to innovate and advance in energy production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Process, or Energy Engineering.
• Extensive experience with renewable energy technologies, especially biomass and district heating.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in supervising engineering teams.
• Proficiency in English, with Dutch skills being advantageous.
• Strong analytical, digital, and problem-solving competencies.
• A proactive, adaptable approach to work and effective teamwork skills.
