The Opportunity
Our client is a growing international brokerage specialising in environmental commodities, carbon markets, renewable energy certificates, gas certificates, and power certificates.
They are looking to hire a Polish-Speaking Sales Trader to join their Amsterdam office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious commercial professional to build a career within the energy and environmental commodities markets while working alongside experienced traders and brokers.
Key Responsibilities
Build and develop your own portfolio of clients.
Generate new business through outbound calls, networking, and client meetings.
Provide market intelligence, pricing, and trading solutions to clients.
Identify and support trading opportunities across environmental, gas, and power markets.
Develop expertise in carbon, renewable certificates, gas certificates, and power certificates.
Maintain and grow long-term client relationships.
Work towards individual revenue and commercial targets.
Candidate Profile
✔ Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Energy, or a related field.
✔ 1-3 years' experience in:
B2B Sales
Business Development
Account Management
Brokerage
Energy or Commodity Markets
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
✔ Commercially driven, ambitious, and proactive.
✔ Interest in energy, commodities, financial markets, sustainability, gas, power, or carbon markets.
✔ Fluent Polish and professional English language skills.
Desirable:
Exposure to gas, power, carbon, renewable energy certificates, Guarantees of Origin (GOs), or environmental commodities.
Telephone-based sales or business development experience.
