Job Description

Job Summary**

As a Personal Banker at United Overseas Bank Ltd. (UOB), you will be a key point of contact for our individual customers, providing comprehensive financial advice and solutions to help them achieve their financial goals. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent customer service and contributing to the bank's growth.

Job Responsibilities**

* Build and manage a portfolio of individual customers, understanding their financial needs and objectives.
* Proactively identify and recommend suitable UOB products and services, including savings accounts, current accounts, loans, investments, and insurance, to meet customer requirements.
* Conduct financial needs analysis and provide sound financial advice, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
* Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, including account opening, deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers.
* Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues when necessary.
* Cross-sell and up-sell banking products and services to deepen customer relationships and increase revenue.
* Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and UOB's product developments to provide relevant advice.
* Adhere to all internal control procedures and regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) guidelines.
* Collaborate with other UOB departments to ensure seamless customer service and product delivery.
* Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team goals.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role within the banking or financial services industry, preferably as a Personal Banker or Relationship Manager.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
* Strong understanding of retail banking products and services, including loans, investments, and insurance.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
* Ability to analyze financial information and provide sound financial advice.
* Proficiency in relevant banking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* High level of integrity and strong adherence to ethical standards.
