Job Description

Job Summary**

As a Personal Banker at United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd, you will be a key point of contact for our valued individual customers, providing comprehensive financial advice and solutions to help them achieve their financial goals. You will build and nurture strong customer relationships, drive sales of banking products, and ensure excellent service delivery.

Job Responsibilities**

* Proactively identify customer financial needs and recommend suitable UOB products and services, including deposits, loans, credit cards, insurance, and investment products.
* Conduct financial needs analysis and provide personalized financial planning advice to individual customers.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers through regular engagement and exceptional service.
* Achieve individual and team sales targets for various banking products and services.
* Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, adhering to all bank policies and regulatory requirements.
* Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.
* Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and UOB product knowledge.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience and cross-selling opportunities.
* Adhere to all compliance, risk management, and regulatory guidelines.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven track record in sales and customer service, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
* Strong understanding of retail banking products and services.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customer segments.
* Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FIMM, PCE, CEILI) will be an added advantage.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
