International nonprofit organization supporting high-growth entrepreneurs around the world is expanding its Japan operations and looking for an Events & Communications professional to help build out its local presence.
The Role
- Join a small, close-knit Japan team, reporting directly to local leadership, and take ownership of the events, community, and communications function.
- Plan and lead standout events that bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and partners.
- Help shape the launch of a new community space as part of the organization's growth in Japan.
Your Skills
- Native-level Japanese (strong writing/copywriting ability required) and business-level English.
- A few years of experience in events, community management, or communications, ideally in a startup, tech, or entrepreneurial environment.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment - building structure where none currently exists.
- Open to occasional travel and evening/weekend work around events.
