Our client is a leading multinational industrial group operating in the manufacturing sector, with a long-standing international footprint. As part of the strengthening of the Group Tax function, we are currently conducting an executive search for an International Tax Manager.

Posizione

The role will operate in close coordination with the Tax Manager to whom they will report. The position does not include direct people management and will be responsible for international tax matters relating to the Group's entities located in Europe, Asia and the United States. Key responsibilities include:

• management of current and deferred tax positions for European, Asian and U.S. entities, including calculation, review and documentation for statutory financial statements and Group consolidated financial reporting purposes.
• supervision of corporate income tax, withholding tax and indirect tax compliance processes within the relevant jurisdictions, including technical review of tax returns and assessment of positions adopted at filing level and management of tax refund positions arising from filed returns.
• handling of international tax matters applicable to European, Asian and U.S. entities, including interpretation and application of double tax treaties, optimization of tax exposure on dividends, interest and royalties, and calculation of foreign tax credits.
• manage and oversee international VAT compliance related to the company's business flows, ensuring the correct application of the tax regulations on intra-EU and extra-EU transactions, while supporting compliance processes and VAT optimization initiatives.
• provision of technical tax support on cross-border transactions, intra-group flows and specific projects involving the relevant geographic areas.
• management of relationships with local tax authorities, including handling of information requests, participation in tax audits and assessments, and evaluation of technical and procedural defense strategies.
• coordination and management of tax litigation involving European, Asian and U.S. entities, including preparation of related reporting to corporate governance bodies.
• continuous monitoring of direct and indirect tax law developments in the relevant jurisdictions and assessment of their impact on the Group's international tax framework.

Requisiti

The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of experience gained within well-structured multinational groups and/or top-tier professional services firms.

A strong background in VAT and international taxation is required, together with advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.

The role requires the ability to operate effectively in complex international environments and to interact with senior management.

Compensation: 75.000€/80.000€ + housing allowance (in case of relocation) + MBO
