You MUST have the following:

• Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer/SRE/Site Reliability Engineer
• Advanced AWS
• Kubernetes
• Docker
• Kafka
• Python scripting

The following is DESIRABLE not essential:

• Ability to read or write in Java
• Large scale data environments

Role: REMOTE Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS Python Amazon Web Services DevOps SRE Site Reliability Engineer K8s Kubernetes Kafka EKS Docker Front Office Financial Services Trading Finance Banking Asset Manager Investment Manager) required by our trading software client in Dublin. You will join a global team of 12, consisting of 8 data engineers and 4 DevOps Engineers, that have built a petabyte-scale data mesh and corresponding platform layer that facilitates access to trading data for analytics and the company's trading systems.

The tech stack is AWS, Java, Python, Kubernetes, Docker and Kafka. You will be a strong DevOps Engineer with an AWS focus, Kubernetes, Docker and Kafka experience. Any ability to read or write Python and Java is highly desirable.

The role is 100% remote and will be to cover US hours - 2pm - 10pm. There will be no expectation to attend the offices.

Duration: 6 - 12 months

Rate: €550 - €640/day
