Managing Director - Investment Banking

The Role:

• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the region, including corporate executives, private equity firms, and financial sponsors
• Lead the origination and execution of M&A and capital markets transactions in Europe
• Manage a team of investment bankers and support staff, providing coaching and mentorship to drive their professional development
• Work with other business lines and teams within the bank to cross-sell products and services and identify new opportunities for growth
• Contribute to the overall strategy and growth of the investment banking division
• ​Participate in business development efforts and attend industry events to promote the bank's brand and capabilities in the region

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance or business administration
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on the European market
• Strong relationships with clients and a proven track record of origination and execution of M&A and capital markets transactions
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
