Financial Accountant, Credit Union, Dublin / Hybrid

Our client are seeking to appoint a Qualified Accountant to join their close knit finance team in a hands on role leading a small finance team. It is a really interesting position with a focus on work life balance.

The Position:

Reporting directly to the CFO the position is varied and high profile. It offers a lot of autonomy and ideally suited to someone who can work on own initiative. Duties will include:

• Leading finance team
• Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Financial Analysis
• Variance analysis
• Assisting with Internal and External Audits
• Monthly reconciliations
• Cross functional relationship management
• Aid development of junior members in finance team
• Participate in process review and improvement
• Finance related projects

The Person

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc) with relevant experience of accounts preparation
• Ideally 2+ years of PQE
• Experience in Financial Services or Credit Union Desirable
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills
