Our client are in the not for profit sector and seeking to appoint an Accounts Payable professional to oversee all aspects of the AP process across a number of locations. They are in the process of implementing a new PO system so this role will be instrumental in rolling this out and ensuring its accuracy. There will be a chance to progress into other areas of accounts and gain exposure in a broad role.

Responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and processing supplier invoices
• Roll out and become super user of PO system
• Setting up supplier accounts
• Dealing with supplier queries
• Supplier reconciliations
• Monthly close
• Bank reconciliations and bank account management
• Journal postings
• Assisting with projects and process improvements
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Ideal candidate requirements:

• In depth experience of working within Accounts Payable
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organisation skills
• Strong administration skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to multitask
