Role

Summary: As a member of the COO L&D Global Functional Training Team, the TA Associate Training Consultant will work collaboratively with team members to deliver training solutions to the assigned business unit. Under general direction the Training Consultant will assist with defining learning solutions that support the functional requirements. The Training Consultant role involves designing, delivering functional training solutions, analyses solutions for continuous improvement and undertakes appropriate operational and administrative aspects of the training curriculum.

Principal Responsibilities

Associate Consultant

• Under general supervision , responsible for administering the training plans and programs necessary to fulfill the needs for corporate or specific business unit (TA) groups.
• Prepares general lessons plans relevant to training materials.
• Identifies business needs and designs general training programs for the stakeholders
• Conducts and facilitates training programs for corporate or specific business unit groups
• Analyzes course evaluations to determine effectiveness of training sessions and to recommend/implement improvements
• Consultants with Business and Training leadership regarding the design and production of work situations requiring new or existing training programs
• May develop project plans including the identification of subject matter experts where appropriate.
• Assists in identifying appropriate external vendors and evaluates the applicability of their offerings and may manage ongoing vendor relationships
• May carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact
• May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management
• Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees
• More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas
• Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions to support knowledge transfer and training deliverables for Business unit

Area Specific Duties

• Coordinate and deliver the training program and mandatory curriculum in all the Global COO L&D locations.
• Liaise with both managers and participants to outline program requirements
• Maintain all training and progress reports/assessments surrounding the program
• Continuous evaluation of the programme working with BU and Training Stakeholders
• Design, develop and maintain a training curriculum for the TA function within the Global GFS curriculums which can be implemented and delivered regardless of geographic location.
• Coordinate/deliver the new hire curriculum within your geographic location.
• Evaluates training and COO L&D development programs for effectiveness and makes recommendations for improvements.
• Design and deliver training for existing systems and new system roll-outs.
• Ensures that TA/ COO L&D Functional learning and development interventions are aligned with the Business Unit and/or enterprise-wide needs.
• Consult with areas in the business unit to provide ongoing support.
• Work collaboratively with other Global Training Teams.

Skills / Experience

An experienced operations professional willing to develop their consulting, writing and presenting skills.

Requirements include:

• Prior operational experience, preferably within one of the following functions: Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting/ Financial Services functions or a similar role in financial services
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work across all levels of staff and consultant mindset
• Self-starter and team player
• Attention to detail

An experienced training professional willing to quickly learn all aspects, primarily Transfer Agency (TA) business function.

Requirements include:

• Prior training and consulting experience, preferably in the area of, Transfer Agency functions
• Familiar with ADDIE and experience in building learning solutions.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work with all levels of staff
• Self-starter and team player
• Attention to detail
• Exposure to learning tools and eLearning methodologies.

Eligibility - Internal Partners

• 24 Months as a Senior Analyst to move as an Associate Consultant
• Movement within TC and Associate Consultant will be 12 months
